Emma Corrin of 'The Crown' Looks Just like Princess Diana in a Pink Polka Dot Dress
“The Crown” newcomer Emma Corrin chandler her inner Princess Diana while filming season four of the series.
Emma Corrin has proven that the hit Netflix show didn’t make a mistake casting her Princess Diana!
According to Daily Mail, Corrin channeled her inner Lady Spencer in a vintage pink dress when shooting scenes for the fourth season of the show.
The rising star was photographed in a pink dress that was strikingly similar to what Diana wore during her 1983 tour of Australia.

At the time, the Princess of Wales was just 22 and visited the nation with her first son Prince Williams.
Emma was a carbon copy of the late princess in her polka dot gown as she was spotted filming scenes in Malaga, Spain.
Not missing any detail, the newest addition to “The Crown” paired the outfit with white court shoes and carried an oversized white envelope clutch that looked just like the one Diana had.
Although the designers of the gown opted for a darker shade of pink, they entirely replicated the intricate features of late Diana’s dress.
Emma’s gown also had white polka dots instead of pink and featured a sequined sheen. It featured the same cinched waist and twisted detailing around the height neck, Harper's Baazar noted.
She accessorized with a gold chain bracelet and didn’t fail to replicate the princess’ iconic engagement ring.
In another photograph, Emma was seen donning a garland of white and pink flowers around her neck imitating Diana’s welcome gift when she arrived at Fremantle Hospital, near Perth, during the tour.
Corrin was seen alongside her on-screen husband, Josh O’Connor, who is set to play Prince Charles in the upcoming season. Josh was a worthy Prince Charles in a smart grey suit.
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, the character of Princess Diana is set to be introduced to the show in its fourth season.
The 23-year-old actress addressed her introduction in a statement that read:
“Beyond excited and honored to be joining The Crown for its fourth season. I have been glued to the show since the first episode, and to think I’m now joining this incredibly talented acting family is just surreal.”
There is no doubt that Emma would blow fans away with her performance.
