Michael Landon's Widow Today 28 Years after Her Husband Died from Cancer
Cindy Landon, the third wife and widow of legendary actor Michael Landon, is a producer, makeup artist, and philanthropist. She never remarried after the death of her husband Michael.
An iconic actor, writer, director, and producer, Michael Landon is an unforgettable name in Hollywood. He is best remembered for his roles in "I Was a Teenage Werewolf," "Bonanza," and "Little House on the Prairie."
During his life, Michael was married to three different women. In 1956, he married Dodie Levy-Fraser and had two kids, Mark and Josh. The couple got divorced after almost 6 years of marriage in 1962.
A year after his divorce, the actor tied the knot with Lynn Noe. The couple welcomed four children--Leslie, Michael Jr., Shawna, and Christopher--together.
LIVING WITH MICHAEL'S MEMORIES
Back in 2018, Cindy listed her $18 million Malibu beach house with a heavy heart. She had purchased the house to make it her new home.
But making the luxurious house her home wasn't easy since she had to move from her 11-acre estate home that she shared with her late husband Michael.
Although she wanted to live near the beach, her heat was still in the home that she and Michael shared. In an interview with Forbes, Cindy revealed the reason why she didn't move to her beach-side house.
“I had every intention of moving into the home but when it came time to move I realized I wasn't ready to sell and move from the home Michael and I built together—and where [our] children were raised."
CINDY NEVER REMARRIED
After Michael's death, Cindy was utterly devastated. She and Michael shared two kids, Jennifer and Sean.
In the same interview with Forbes, Cindy shared that she felt closer to Michael in their home.
Being the father of nine kids is no small feat, but Michael managed to give time to his family despite everything.
Cindy may sell their home, but Michael's memories are still in her heart. After the actor passed away, Cindy didn't even tie the knot with someone else.
