Henry Winkler from 'Happy Days' Flashes Smile in Pic with Wife Stacey before They Attended 2020 SAG Awards
Henry Winkler shared a heartwarming photo with his wife of 41 years shortly before they attended the SAG Awards together.
After more than four decades together, Henry Winkler and his wife Stacey are still very much in love.
Their unbreakable bond was evident in a recent photo shared on social media.
As seen in the image shared on Winkler’s Twitter page, the lovebirds found the time to pose for a photo before they headed off to the 2020 SAG Awards.
The “Happy Days” star was his usual self in a dapper black tuxedo paired with a white shirt and black bow tie.
Stacey, however, showed that she was the belle of the ball in a short pleated black dress that suited her frame.
She paired the outfit with black stilettos and let her trademark red hair finish off her look. The lovely photo had fans of the actor in awe as it was liked over 10,000 times.
“She was wearing purple parachute pants, and she had red hair, and without her even saying a word, I thought, Woah, beautiful woman standing in front of me.”
After setting eyes on Stacey, he returned to the store to ask her to go get a soda. Initially, she refused, but after much persuasion decided to give in.
It didn’t take long before Stacey, and her then-4-year-old son moved in with Winkler. By 1978, Winkler and Stacey tied the knot and welcomed two children, Zoe and Max, during the course of their marriage.
According to USA Today, Winkler first gained fame for his role in the ‘70s sitcom. However, he didn’t reach the height of his career until decades later at 72 when he starred as Gene Cousineau in HBO’s “Barry.”
For his performance in the series, Henry earned his first primetime Emmy Award. Some of Henry’s notable works include “Arrested Development,” “Parks and Recreation,” “Royal Pains,” and “Children’s Hospital.”
However, despite his numerous achievements, Henry’s most significant role remains being a grandfather of four.
“I love being a grandparent. I thoroughly enjoy myself. We spoil them with love.”
He also admitted that they are his heartbeat.
