Donald & Melania Trump Send Their Condolences to Kobe Bryant's Wife Vanessa & Family in Tweets

While there continues to be an outpouring of tributes to Kobe Bryant, sympathizers also commiserate with the family he left behind, with President Donald Trump and his wife, Melania, also joining in.

President Donald Trump shared the feelings of all Americans in a tweet mourning the passing of Kobe Bryant, his daughter, Gianna, and seven others, in a ghastly helicopter crash. The President tweeted:

"...He loved his family so much and had such a strong passion for the future. The loss of his beautiful daughter, Gianna, makes the moment even more devastating."

In another tweet, President Trump offered his and Melania's condolences to Vanessa and the Bryant family. It will be recalled that the President had also reacted to the news of the crash on Sunday.

Since the crash was first announced, and the occupants of the helicopter confirmed, more information of Kobe Bryant and his daughter's last hours on earth continue to surface.

The latest revelation is that father and daughter attended a Catholic Mass early Sunday morning, where they received the Holy Communion, just before embarking on their last journey together.

Kobe said that his friends always told him that it takes a real man to make a boy, to which he replied that it takes a King to make a Princess.

According to "DailyMail," the 41-year-old NBA legend and his 13-year-old daughter attended the 7 am mass at Our Lady Queen of Angels Parish in Newport Beach.

Father Anthony Vu officiated the mass. Immediately after the mass, they boarded the ill-fated S-76 Sikorsky helicopter, which was piloted by Ara Zobyan.

Hours later, the helicopter crashed into a hillside near Calabasas around 9.30 am, while firefighters responded to a 911 call around 9.47 am. All nine occupants on board died in the crash.

Kobe Bryant is survived by his wife, Vanessa, and their remaining three daughters, Natalia Diamante, 17, Bianca Bella, 3, and Capri Kobe, 7 months. The couple met in 1999 and got married on April 18, 2001.

During a 2017 interview with "Extra," Kobe opened up about being a father to his girls and revealed that his wife, Vanessa, wanted a boy more than he did.

Kobe said that his friends always told him that it takes a real man to make a boy, to which he replied that it takes a King to make a Princess, after which he asked them to get in line.
