Beyoncé Pays Tribute to Kobe Bryant and Says She's Praying for His Family

Beyonce took to social media to honor the late basketball giant, Kobe Bryant, by vowing to keep praying for the wife children and he left behind.

Famous American singer and businesswoman, Beyonce, has joined the rank of celebrities mourning the death of former basketball champion, Kobe Bryant.

The "Single Ladies" singer recently took to Instagram to upload a series of posts that honored the deceased Kobe Bryant.

The retired basketball athlete was involved in a crash that claimed his life along with the lives of several others with him, including his daughter, Gianna.

The first post was an old childhood photo of Kobe Bryant, while the next was a picture of Gianna when she was younger.

The last post came with a heartwarming caption, and it featured Kobe leaning in to plant a kiss at the top of Gianna's head while she laughed gleefully.

Beyonce had a heartfelt caption to go with the post; it read, "I will continue to diligently pray for your Queen. You are deeply missed beloved Kobe."

The posts attracted a lot of attention from her fans and followers as they commended the hip hop Queen for being empathetic.

Vanessa implored netizens to help donate for the families of the individuals who died alongside Kobe in the crash.

The tribute is coming in just hours after Kobe's wife, Vanessa, broke her silence on the tragedy that occurred. She did this via her Instagram page, where she posted a family photo which she backed up with a lengthy heart rending caption.

In her statement, she thanked everyone for their support and prayers as she opened up about how devastated they were about the accident.

Besides herself, Kobe left behind Natalia, Bianka and Capri. Vanessa also requested for privacy as they negotiated the new turn their lives have taken.

She implored netizens to help donate for the families of the individuals who died alongside Kobe in the crash. There's no update yet on funeral arrangements for Kobe and Gianna.

By now, all the bodies have been identified, and the families of the deceased have all been informed. They include: John Altobelli, 56, Keri Altobelli, 46, and their 13-year-old daughter, Alyssa Altobelli
