North Carolina Man Serenades His Cancer-Ridden Wife before Surgery in Viral Video

Ray from North Carolina had the internet abuzz after a video of him singing beautifully to his ailing wife who was battling cancer, surfaced on social media.

A video has gone viral after its soul-stirring content melted the hearts of internet users.

On Instagram, the video showed Ray Singleton doing a lovely rendition of Daniel Caesar's "Get Up" while his wife l, Roslyn Singleton, smiles on.

The young couple were in the hospital together, and while Roslyn was preparing to go in for surgery, Ray decided to comfort her with some music.

Speaking with WSOC, Ray explained that he was nervous and bored while going ahead to add:

"When she comes out, I don't know if she'll be able to see this, but I want to make something for her that will make her smile after having her head cut open."

ATLANTA BLACK shares that Roslyn's plight began in 2013 before she met Ray. The cancer was subdued after treatment but returned aggressively in 2019, a year after she got married. While speaking with WSCO, Roslyn recalled:

"I wasn't expecting for it to come back, because I was young, and I was taking care of myself. I don't eat pork. I was, like, 'I'm doing good.'"

Despite all of these, the Navy Veteran keeps up a positive outlook, and her hubby is also determined to stay true to her through the ordeal. Ray revealed to the news outlet:

"I told my pastor and God in front of a lot of people, I'm with her through sickness and health, and this is just a part of that."
