TERRY CREWS REVEALS CHANGE OF HEART

In a tweet addressed to his fans, Terry revealed that he had spoken to Kevin Hart and told him he needed to acknowledge other people's pain.

Then in a burst of insight, Terry realised he had to do the same - acknowledge that he had ridden rough-shop over other's sensitivities, and ignored their experiences when they differed from his - more specifically, Gabrielle Union.

Terry, who was one of the few men to openly share his own experience with sexual harassment on Hollywood in solidarity with the #MeToo movement wrote:

“I want to apologize for the comments I made. I realize there are a lot of Black women hurt and let down by what I said and also by what I didn’t say.”

Terry then addressed Gabrielle Union directly, telling her he has enormous respect for her and considers her a peerless example for the black community and respects her struggle for equality in the workplace.

GABRIELLE UNION DID NOT RESPOND

Despite Terry's flurry of apologetic tweets, Gabrielle hasn’t responded. After all, Gabrielle was fired for protesting tasteless jokes that were blatantly racist on AGT, while Terry was defending the contest, and it's culture.

NBC has since announced an official investigation into Gabrielle's allegations. Sharon Osborne also spoke in Gabby's defense, as did many celebrities and stars from the music and entertainment industries.

NBC HAS MEETING WITH GABRIELLE UNION

After Gabrielle Union was fired from AGT for sounding off about what she called the show's "toxic culture," NBC executives sat down with the actress to hear her side of a conflict that had shocked the contest's many fans.

Following a 5-hour meeting with Union, NBC has now launched an official investigation into her allegations concerning "America's Got Talent," and its star judge and music producer, Simon Cowell.,

Union was not renewed for a second season as a judge of AGT after she made several complaints about incidents of misogynism and racism. Her fellow judge, Jullien Hough was also fired. Sharon Osborne, who had also served on AGT as a judge, called the program "a boy's club."
