JD Scott's Wife Annalee Belle Gets Reflective in Post as She Continues to Mourn Loss of Her Grandpa

Annalee Belle, the wife of "Property Brother's" JD Scott, opened up, in an emotional Instagram post, about the loss of her grandfather and the harder things she went through before meeting her husband.

Annalee Belle has been in the blues following her grandfather's death. The celebrity makeup artist, in a recent Instagram post, recalls when things were difficult for her and how they do not compare to what she feels now. She said:

"While I've been through harder things, like family traumas and old partners cheating on/beating me... those didn't bring the tears like my grandpa's passing."

In the lengthy caption of the post, Annalee opened up about the tears that she shed at her grandfather's burial and how, even in the sad event of his passing and funeral, he still inspired her to be better. She said:

"My grandpa had things quite organized and had even made some scrapbooks full of very detailed information. My goal this year is to be more organized from here on out."

The image showed Annalee, with her custom baby pink hair, wearing a polka dots fur coat, which she finished off with a pair of blue and pink earrings while standing in front of a large overhead neon sign.

Getting back “normal”...whatever that is. ⁣ This last week has been one of, if not the most tear-filled I’ve ever had. While I’ve been through harder things, like family traumas and old partners cheating on/beating me... those didn’t bring the tears like my grandpa’s passing. And not all the tears were sad! So so many of them were filling me up with happy memories of him. We got to see lots of family from Nebraska and other parts of the country too, which was a nice surprise. ⁣ ⁣ I have to say that in the midst of all this, I hadn’t expected to also be inspired. My grandpa had things quite organized and had even made some scrapbooks full of very detailed information. My goal this year is to be more organized from here on out and I think it’s helped a lot to see how my grandpa prepared for his passing. ⁣ ⁣ So today begins my cleaning and decluttering since I have a few days in Vegas.⁣ ⁣ Have any of you ever found inspiration in what could have been just a sad situation? 💖

Annalee, who recently lost her grandfather, has been open about her struggles with the patriarch's death and how he meant a lot to the makeup artist before his passing.

The couple had to slow down their activities and make a lot of dietary changes as it was difficult for him to lead a healthy life.

This is possibly the hardest post I’ve chosen to make. I’ve avoided posting this week, but decided this is something I’d like to share. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Monday evening, my Grandpa Jim passed from this life to the next. He had put up a good fight to cancer, but the chemo treatments really weakened his heart. This last year has been full of ups and downs with his strength and overall heath since finishing the chemo. I’ve never seen anyone so dedicated to their health. He kept up with as much exercise as he could, kept notes of his medications, and was able to fill the doctors in on so much more than most people could, especially at 86 years old. He has inspired me in so many ways, but the biggest lesson this last year was not to give up. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I felt terrible having asked my grandparents to travel to Vegas for our wedding. I wanted to have it in Amarillo, but JD was also not well enough to travel much at that time, so we chose to have it at home. What a blessing that he decided to make the trip. I’ll cherish that forever and ever. My dad’s parents are the only good and lasting marriage I had to look at for an example my whole life. They’ve always given me hope that a marriage can truly be “till death do us part” and have shown me how much good can come out of sticking through the tough times. This past year, they made it to 60 years together, and two months after that, I married JD. ⁣⁣ I’ve cried a lot this week. I’m trying not to cry right now as I’m on a plane home. But I know the minute I see my grandma, it’s going to hit me like a ton of bricks. I’ve been distracted with work this week, which was helpful, but I’m a little scared of how much emotion I know is going to come out in the next few days. ⁣⁣ My grandpa taught us all so much and he is dearly missed. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Love on those close to you extra hard. Tell people you love them. Tell them what they mean to you. Make amends with people if you can. And don’t put off doing things for your loved ones, especially if they’re not in great health. You literally have no idea when they might be gone. My grandpa was improving drastically just days before he passed. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ (Cont in comments)

With the help of her husband, JD Scott, Belle has been able to overcome the blues that came with her grandfather's death as he has been very supportive of the 31-year-old in her trying times. In an Instagram post, JD said:

"Jim was a wonderful and much-loved man whom I respected a lot. We are going to miss him dearly."

Lovers of Annalee took to the comments section of her post to encourage and motivate her regarding the loss, urging her to keep his memory alive by imbibing all that she learned from him.

Although little is known of Annalee's previous relationships before her marriage to JD Scott, one thing we are sure of, however, is the fact that those hard times did not compare to the loss of her grandfather.

Annalee got engaged to her "Property Brother's" heartthrob, JD Scott, in November 2018 and tied the knot a year after following JD's mysterious illness.

2019 has been the best year of my life so far. I made a commitment larger and more sacred than I ever have before. My husband went through an illness that scared the shit out of us. We dealt with friends and family not believing the severity and many not even checking in. I lost one of the most important friendships I’ve had and was depressed and anxious for many months due to that and @mrjdscott’s health. Through all this pain, so much love and beauty emerged. I fell in love with myself again. My relationships with everyone I love have been strengthened. I took more time off work/social media to be in the moment. Deep conversations led to discoveries that otherwise may have been left in the dark. While I learned how to have boundaries and speak my truth, I also learned when to keep my mouth shut and vent to my therapist instead. 😂 I feel whole, happy, light, and strong all at the same time. And with @mrjdscott by my side, I know everything is gonna be alright. 💗

Although the disease was not known and was chucked up to be a severe infection, the couple had to slow down their activities and make a lot of dietary changes as it was difficult for him to lead a healthy life.

Just as Annalee was there for JD through his trying times, the husband has reciprocated by standing by his wife through the loss of her grandfather.
