Meghan Markle spent her Christmas day with the royal family.

On December 25, 2017, the 36-year-old Prince Harry’s wife-to-be joined the other members of the royal family in a day full of events at Sandringham, where they met some fans that showed up to see them.

As reported by Mirror, Meghan was spotted getting cozy with Kate Middleton throughout the day. According to reports, Meghan and Kate started to develop a close friendship.

The former Suits actress wore a Sentaler stylish wrap-around coat that featured a large and relaxed collar. She had a dark brown beret and she accessorized herself with a Birks snowflake earrings.

Meghan completed her look with a pair of knee-high boots and a $1,550 handbag made out of leather which was designed by Chloe.

Meanwhile, Kate sported a velvet tartan green and red coat designed by Miu Miu, which had an estimated worth of $3,546. The Duchess of Cambridge also wore a black hat.

The couples arrived at the same time, waving and smiling at the members of the public who turned up to see them. They also wished them a Merry Christmas as they walked by.

Queen Elizabeth looked elegant in a bright orange coat with a very fancy matching hat. The 91-year-old Queen also interacted with the hundreds of people that had gathered there, waving at them as she walked out of the church.

Meghan wouldn’t have been able to be present at the event if it wasn’t for Queen Elizabeth. The Queen allowed her to join them out of love for her grandson, Harry.

The royal's tradition only allowed a woman to step foot at Sandringham after being married. Meghan and Harry, who announced their engagement in November 2017, will tie the knot on May 19, 2018. Even Kate was not able to attend the Christmas services without being married to Prince William first.
