Father-of-two Ashton Kutcher recently faced backlash from fans about his parenting skills.
Amomama brings to you news of recent criticism faced by actor Ashton Kutcher and his wife Mila Kunis concerning their parenting skills as reported by Pop Culture on February 28, 2018.
The issue of parenting is a very sensitive one worldwide and parents easily get judged for whatever decisions they make when it comes to raising kids.
This was the case of celebrity couple Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis when they disclosed an information about their parenting methods.
In an interview with Dax Shephard on the Armchair Expert Podcast, Kutcher revealed some information that got his fans angry.
In the podcast, Kutcher and Dax Shephard got to discussing married life and parenting young children.
Kutcher confessed to using a robotic crib to put their children to sleep.
The robotic crib called SNOO is manufactured by the company Happiest baby and it goes for an expensive price of $1,160 making it unaffordable for most parents.
In Kutcher’s words:
‘For kid number two, we got one of those SNOOs’
He went further to name the specific child it was used for - Dimitri.
He said the machine made Dimitri sleep for 6 hours straight when he was only three days old and he’s eternally grateful to SNOO for that.
Many of his fans didn’t find his statement harmless as they came for him on various social media platforms.
Kutcher and his wife were termed lazy parents who substituted love and affection for technology when it came to their children.
A Facebook user commented saying:
‘Generations of baby have survived without the SNOO, it’s an unnecessary gizmo that will make parents lazy when it comes to caring for their baby. Nothing can replace the human touch. Use the money for the baby’s education!’
The couple faces more backlash from fans but not everyone found this act repulsive.
A user justified the use of the robots saying that the invention was to help new parents to get an uninterrupted night’s sleep.
Things got hotter for the couple when ‘Happiest Baby’ posted Kutcher’s testimony online making people believe he was paid for the endorsement.
It’s unfair the criticism the Kutchers are facing as parents are allowed to decide how to raise their kids.
The Kutchers haven’t responded to any of the criticism through their reps.
