Girl Begs Her Father to Kick Her Out of the House, He Finds Out the Reason and Goes Crazy – Story of the Day

Clara was already 20 years old when her mother left for her heavenly abode. She still lived in her parents’ house and her dad, Mark, provided everything for her. But Clara hated it. She, like every other person her age, wanted to live independently. She wanted freedom and privacy.

However, she was hesitant to tell her father about it because she knew he feared losing her. Ever since he had lost his wife, Mark wanted to protect Clara from all harm. But in the process, he didn’t realize that he’d become overprotective.

But Mark was a smart man. He was well aware that his daughter had frequently attempted to enrage him in order to persuade him to agree to her leaving the house.

Once she showed Mark instructions on how to legally evict an adult child who refuses to leave. He could give her an ostensive timeframe in which to move out or could charge rent, perhaps at a rate that she would struggle to afford at her current income. But the father still could not imagine a house without his daughter.

“No means no, Clara. No more arguments. That’s it,” Mark finished.

Clara was furious. She’d had enough of pleading with her father to let her leave the house. So she ran away one day when Mark was out.

When he returned home, he was devastated that Clara was nowhere to be seen. He contacted her several times, but she didn’t return his calls or texts. Finally, he decided to report it to the police. But just as he was about to dial the number, he received a text from Clara. It was simply an address.

Mark drove to the address, where he saw Clara already waiting for him. But she wasn’t alone. A guy stood at the doorstep holding Clara’s hand.

“Meet Kevin, dad,” Clara said. “He’s my boyfriend, and I want to move in with him.”

“How can you even think about doing that, Clara?” Mark was agitated. “I can’t believe you’d run away like this with a random man!”

“He’s not a random man, dad!” Clara retorted. “You're here because Kevin texted you back. He told me it was not right of me to just leave you like that without informing you.”

“Alright! So now this guy is more important than your dad? If he hadn’t told you to text me, you wouldn’t have?” Mark questioned.

“Maybe not, dad,” Clara replied sternly. “Anyway, you just think about yourself. You don’t want me to leave because you’re scared of losing me. But what about my life and choices?”

Mark got angry. He grabbed Clara’s hand and forced her into the car. Kevin attempted to stop him, but Mark shoved him away and warned him to stay away from Clara.

Kevin didn’t give up, though. He went to Clara’s house the next day and said something that not only startled Mark but also made him understand how wrong he had been in forcing his daughter all this while.

“I love Clara, Mr. Smith,” Kevin said. “And I want to marry her.”

Mark gave him a stern glance. “I’m sorry, but I don’t approve of it, Kevin. Now please leave my house!”

“I’m afraid I can’t, Sir,” Kevin continued. “There’s something I want you to know before you say anything.”

“But I don’t want to listen to you. Please get out of my house!” Mark said as he shoved Kevin out of the door.

“She’s PREGNANT!” Kevin screamed as he resisted Mark. “I can’t leave her alone in this situation. I love Clara, and I want to take care of my child and her.”

Mark was shocked. He couldn’t believe his ears. “What did you say? Pregnant?!”

“Yes, Mr. Smith,” Kevin continued. “Your daughter is pregnant.”

When Mark heard that, he nearly collapsed and clutched the table’s ends tightly. Clara hurried out of her room as she heard Kevin scream and was taken aback seeing her father in such a situation. “Are you all right, Dad?” she asked, concerned.

Mark’s eyes welled up with tears. “I’m sorry, Clara. I didn’t realize how harsh I was on you. I became so selfish that I didn’t realize my daughter had her life too.” Mark had realized his mistake. “I’m a terrible father. I’m sorry.”

“Oh, dad,” Clara said as she hugged her father. “Please don’t blame yourself like that. I’m glad everything’s fine now.”

Mark apologized to both Clara and Kevin that day, and he took special care in making all of their wedding arrangements.

Clara and Kevin married a month later, and they welcomed a beautiful baby daughter into the world. Mark loves spending time with his granddaughter and frequently visits her daughter’s new home.
