Host Amanda Keller pressed Urban on whether he believed their romance was destined, suggesting that if they had not met at a specific event, their marriage might never have happened. Urban initially replied that he thought it would, but when asked if he believed in fate, he responded, "No idea." The moment was followed by an awkward silence.
As the questioning continued, Urban visibly shifted in his seat. He unbuttoned and removed his jacket before cutting the conversation short with, "You never know. Anyway, moving on."
The clip, which circulated online after the couple's separation was confirmed, has sparked discussion about Urban's discomfort and his reluctance to publicly reflect on the marriage.
