Prince William and Princess Catherine Enjoy Commonwealth Games With Their Kids

The Wales family made their way to Glasgow's The Hydro over the weekend, marking a rare public outing for all three children together.

Prince William and Princess Catherine had the time of their lives at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games over the weekend, turning the sporting event into a full family affair by bringing along all three of their children.

The family received a warm welcome from fellow sports fans upon arriving at The Hydro in Scotland, home to the Commonwealth Games — a competition held every four years that brings together athletes from across the Commonwealth of Nations.

And each family member arrived dressed for the occasion.

Princess Charlotte, 11, wore a white short-sleeve dress featuring a navy polka-dot print, a collared button-front top, and a tiered, ruffled skirt. She finished the look with white flats and a thin bracelet, and her hair down in a middle-part style.

Princess Catherine, 44, opted for a dark green double-breasted blazer with silver button accents, worn over a white top with horizontal navy stripes.

She paired the ensemble with a white pleated maxi skirt and nude pointed-toe heels, styling her hair in loose curls and accessorizing with pearl drop earrings, a ring, and a bracelet.

Prince Louis, 8, kept things casual in a light blue button-down with rolled-up sleeves, navy trousers, a brown belt, and dark brown shoes. Prince George, 13, went with a white Polo long-sleeve button-down, along with navy trousers, a navy belt, brown loafers, and a dark watch.

Prince William, 44, started the day in a light blue button-down before layering on a navy blazer later on, sticking with navy trousers and brown suede shoes throughout.

Photos circulating on social media showed William and Kate seated in the stands with their children, watching the netball semifinal between Australia and Jamaica while leaning in to explain the game to their kids. The family also caught a track cycling event before the day was through.

That evening, the couple took to social media to reflect on their outing. "Incredible atmosphere at the Commonwealth Games today," the Prince and Princess of Wales wrote under one post.

"Watching world-class talent compete and seeing the power of sport to bring people together is truly special. Thank you to everyone involved for such a wonderful day."

A second post featured a video montage of the couple mingling with athletes and other attendees. "Congratulations to every athlete taking part in this year's Commonwealth Games! 🏅," the caption read, before continuing with a shoutout to the Welsh delegation.

"A special well done to Team Wales for proudly representing the nation on the international stage. It was a pleasure to join the athletes today at Wales House. Llongyfarchiadau, Team Wales!"

The Commonwealth Games outing adds to what's already shaping up to be a packed summer for the royal family.

Just days earlier, on July 28, William and Kate shared another glimpse into their family life with a reel documenting recent adventures — including a trip to Wimbledon with George, who celebrated becoming a teenager earlier in July, and Charlotte, alongside several portraits of the couple's three children.
