On Tuesday evening, May 27, President Donald Trump's communications advisor, Margo Martin, posted a video on X that shows the POTUS speaking on the phone with "Chrisley Knows Best" star Savannah Chrisley, daughter of Todd and Julie Chrisley.

"It's a terrible thing, but it's a great thing, because your parents are going to be free and clean, and I hope we can do it by tomorrow. Is that okay?" Trump said in the clip.

"So give them — I don't know them — but give them my regards and wish them well. Wish them a good life," he continued. On the other end of the line, Savannah sounded emotional as she expressed her gratitude.

Todd and Julie, known as the lead stars of "Chrisley Knows Best," were found guilty of over $36 million in bank fraud and tax evasion in 2022. Julie was sentenced to seven years, while her husband received a 12-year sentence, later reduced to 10.

The couple formally requested pardons from Trump in February of this year, which have now been granted. Following the call, Savannah, wearing a gold-and-white MAGA cap, shared a video recounting experience.

"I am freaking out over here — I have shed so many tears. The president called me personally as I was walking into Sam's Club and notified me that he was signing paper pardon paperwork for both of my parents," Savannah began.

"So both my parents are coming home tonight [Tuesday] or tomorrow [Wednesday], and I still don't believe it's real. I'm freaking out — the fact that the president called me," she continued.

Savannah added that she would be forever grateful to the Trump administration and all those who helped secure her parents' release.

"My parents get to start their lives over… President Trump didn't just commute their sentences, he gave them a full unconditional pardon. So for that, I am forever grateful," she said.
