Incident Took Place Near Prince Andrew’s Home
The charges stem from an incident reported earlier this week near Andrew’s residence on the Sandringham estate.

It was confirmed officers arrested a man on suspicion of a public order offense and possession of an offensive weapon.

Prince Andrew Recently Relocated to the Sandringham Estate
The incident comes shortly after Andrew relocated to Marsh Farm on the Sandringham estate.
The move followed continued controversy surrounding the duke, whose public role within the royal family has dramatically diminished in recent years.

King Charles III stripped Andrew of his remaining royal titles and dukedom last year amid ongoing fallout connected to his relationship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Andrew has repeatedly denied wrongdoing and denied allegations linked to Epstein.
Despite stepping away from royal duties years ago, the Duke of York continues attracting significant public attention and criticism.

Legal Troubles Continue to Surround Andrew
The confrontation near Sandringham adds to a turbulent chapter in Andrew’s life.
Earlier this year, Andrew had been arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office, further intensifying scrutiny around the disgraced royal.

The royal family has largely attempted to distance itself from the ongoing controversies involving Andrew, with King Charles focusing attention on the monarchy’s future and official royal work.
Andrew himself has maintained a far lower public profile compared to previous decades when he regularly represented the Crown at public events and international engagements.
