Amy Adams Shares Whether Daughter Aviana Will Follow in Her Footsteps

Hollywood may soon have a second-generation star on its hands, according to Amy Adams. The Oscar nominee says the decision is still Aviana's to make, but the interest is already there.
Amy Adams has revealed that her daughter, Aviana Olea Le Gallo, has shown an interest in following her footsteps into the entertainment industry.

The "Arrival" star opened up about the prospect on the red carpet at the "Cape Fear" finale screening in New York City on Tuesday evening, July 21.
For the occasion, the actress stepped out in an all-black ensemble, pairing a sheer, long-sleeved button-down with a high-waisted satin skirt featuring a draped panel at the front.

She finished the look with strappy black heels and wore her hair down in loose waves, opting for minimal jewelry that let the outfit take center stage. Speaking with reporters at the event, Adams gave insight into her daughter's Hollywood ambitions.
"I think we'll see what she's up for," the "Junebug" star said. "I know she's interested in production as a whole, so we'll see what avenue she decides to focus on."

It wouldn't be surprising if the 16-year-old did indeed pursue some form of entertainment work, as she hails from a family brimming with creative talent. Alongside her mother, her father, Darren Le Gallo, is a filmmaker and a formally trained fine artist.
Le Gallo has also taken on a handful of minor acting roles himself, including in the comedy show "Then We Got Help!," 2022's "Disenchanted" alongside his wife, "The Matrix Reloaded," and "Trouble With the Curve."

In 2010, he wrote and directed the short film "It Goes," and he went on to debut his first feature-length movie, "Sam & Kate," starring Dustin Hoffman and Sissy Spacek, in 2022.
Le Gallo previously shared that talks with his daughter about mortality helped shape "Sam & Kate," a dramedy following a man who returns to his hometown to care for his aging, widowed father.
"I was trying to ease into it a bit. She's 12 now, so she's smarter than me," he said at the time. Aviana also made a cameo in the film as a young dancer.

In a separate interview, Adams explained that choices about work and upcoming projects are largely shaped by what's best for the family as a whole.

"Before I take a job, we sit down [as a family] and have a meeting: 'Here's what it will look like. Here's the traveling. How do we feel about that?'" Adams explained, adding that Aviana is "always" involved in the decision-making process.

"We've been talking about it since she was quite young: 'How do you feel about spending a summer in Boston?' Or, 'How do you feel about coming to England with me when I do the play?' And I'm really lucky she's got a lot of wanderlust and she loves traveling,'" she added.
While she typically keeps her personal life private, Adams has brought her daughter along to several red carpet events over the years. Most recently, the actress made the "Cape Fear" premiere back in June a family affair, with both Aviana and Le Gallo joining her for the occasion.
