Nicole Kidman Is ‘Surprisingly Level-Headed’ amid Divorce, Source Says
The "Nine Perfect Strangers" star has been separated from her husband since the beginning of summer, though news of their split only broke earlier this week.
Nicole Kidman is moving on after filing for divorce from her husband of 19 years, Keith Urban. News first broke on Monday, September 29, that the former couple had been separated and living apart since June, thrusting them into an ongoing media storm.

Despite the publicity, however, a source close to the family says Kidman appears to be handling things well. "She's been stressed because she knew the separation would eventually become public and she was dreading it," the source told PEOPLE.
"But she's surprisingly level-headed and calm. Now that it's out she's just focused on what's ahead and her girls," the insider added. Kidman and Urban share two daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14.
After news of their separation broke on Monday, Kidman officially filed for divorce on Tuesday, September 30, citing irreconcilable differences. In divorce documents obtained by TMZ, the actress requested to be the primary residential parent for their children.
According to the parenting plan, the girls will spend 306 days with Kidman and 59 days with Urban. It also reveals that the pair agreed that all major decisions regarding their children, including education and healthcare, will be made jointly.
Kidman reportedly didn't want the breakup and had been trying to save her marriage. While she appears to have now accepted its fate, Urban has also reportedly moved on with another woman.
