Jackie Tohn of 'Nobody Wants This' Reveals Her Virgo-Inspired Secret to a Spotless, Organized Kitchen
Jackie Tohn is not shy about her love for cleanliness and order. The "Nobody Wants This" star credits her Virgo tendencies for her highly organized kitchen, sharing practical habits, must-have tools, and why keeping things simple makes all the difference.
Jackie Tohn is embracing her reputation as a self-proclaimed “clean freak.” The actress, who stars in "Nobody Wants This," recently opened up about her approach to maintaining a spotless and well-organized kitchen, crediting both her personality and practical habits.
A Virgo Approach to Organization
Tohn openly admits that her attention to detail plays a major role in how she manages her home. As a Virgo, she says organization comes naturally, especially in the kitchen.
"I'm a big Tupperware girly. Everything in my fridge is in clear plastic containers. Everything’s in its place in this house — that’s sort of my way. [I'm] really good at food eating, really good at food cleaning—I’m a clean freak," Tohn admits.
Another alternative way to keep things stored in a sustainable way is by using reusable zip containers, which can be used to store produce, snacks, and more.
A Cleaning Shortcut She Swears By
Tohn also shared a kitchen cleaning tip that has simplified her routine. She pointed to a product that has helped eliminate the need for more traditional tools.
"Okay, well, this sounds very commercial, but my number one thing was like a sponge at the end of a brush," she shared. "I don't know how to tell you this, but with Dawn Powerwash, you don't need this sponge at the end of a brush anymore. You spritz, you let it sit, and then you rinse it out with water, and then it's fixed. So that's something amazing."
The Must-Have Kitchen Essential
Beyond cleaning, Tohn highlighted one item she believes every kitchen should have.
"Everyone needs a 9x13 pan," she said. For her, the pan is a versatile staple that works for a variety of dishes, from comfort food to traditional recipes. She even shared examples from her own kitchen.
"My boyfriend makes an obscene mac and cheese — uses the fanciest cheese, calls pasta 'orecchiette,' I’m like, you can just say shells. And I make a noodle kugel. That’s my dish. People are like, 'What is this heavy Jewish noodle dish?' Just taste it. It’s the best thing ever," she added.
Jackie Tohn’s kitchen routine is built on organization, efficiency, and simplicity. By relying on clear systems and practical tools, she maintains a clean and functional kitchen space. Her Virgo-inspired habits show that staying organized does not have to be complicated, just consistent.
